Reiki is a Japanese method of healing through natural and universal healing energy that allows both physical and mental illnesses.
Mikao Usui who discovered Reiki during a retreat in mid-nineteenth century, although he always claimed that only rediscovered ancient healing technique that already existed but had to take long forgotten.
